WIESCO has held language camps in Lithuania since 2003 and is happy to return to Šiauliai for the second year in a row after a highly successful camp in 2011. The two week English camp is held at Šiaulių Didždvario gimnazija for students ages 13 to 17.
Šiauliai is a city of 130,000 in North Western Lithuania, the fourth largest in the country. The city is vibrant with culture and boasts many restaurants, shops, cafés, malls and markets. Didždvario gimnazija is located on a pedestrian street in town and is a comfortable walk from where the teachers are housed. The school facilities are excellent and there is plenty of space and amenities available for a variety of activities.
Students who attended the camp in 2011 were motivated, bright and eager to learn as well as share their Lithuanian culture with the American teachers and helpers.
