This will be WIESCO’s sixteenth year
sponsoring an English language camp in Latvia and its fourteenth year in the city of Daugavpils.
The language camp is housed at the Russian Lyceum. Since 1986, the school has been searching for the most effective ways to give students advanced knowledge in languages, mathematics and other specialized subjects. T
he method of creative, problem-solving teaching has become the key goal for the school. The school tries to be responsive to changes in social, economic and political conditions and to learn from the experience of other countries. The students who attend the Russian Lyceum begin learning English in the first grade. Our summer language program is for students in junior high and high school.
Teachers for the language school are housed in a Sports Hotel a short, pleasant walk from the school.
