English Language Summer Camps in Latvia, Poland and Lithuania.    

     2009 DATES:    Latvia: June 24 - July 22, Lithuania: June 25 - July 22, and Poland: June 25 - July 23

Teachers from the United States are invited to teach in English language summer programs in Poland, Lithuania, and Latvia in 2009.  We also invite teachers to bring along students, either your own children (16 to 18 years old) or others you know well, to work as peer participants and teachers’ aids. 

The Programs
The program provides language instruction and activities for Latvian, Lithuanian, and Polish students, ages 12 to 17.  A typical day includes classroom instruction, singing, language activities, sports, and special events. 

Cost:  $250 plus airfare
The summer programs are organized by WIESCO and supported by funds from host school districts and UNESCO. You pay $250 (students pay $150) to WIESCO for expenses (like keeping this web site alive), and airfare.  Airfare this year will be approximately $1500 - $2000 from Minneapolis or Chicago.  After arrival in the country, all other transportation, meals and lodging are provided by the host country.  Please read through the general Conditions section for more details.
