English Language Summer Camps in  Brazil, Lithuania , Latvia, Poland , Macedonia

2011 DATES:    Latvia: June 23 - July 22, Lithuania: June 23 -July 20, Poland: June 23 - July 21, Macedonia: Next Camp Scheduled for 2012, Brazil:  February 10 - March 8.

Teachers from the United States are invited to teach in English language summer programs in Brazil, Poland, and Latvia in 2011. The next  camp in Macedonia will be in 2012. We also invite teachers to bring along students, either your own children (16 to 18 years old) or others you know well, to work as peer participants and teachers’ aids. 

The Programs
The program provides language instruction and activities for Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and Macdeonian students, ages 12 to 17.  The students in the Brazil camp will be between 17 and 21.   A typical day includes classroom instruction, singing, language activities, sports, and special events. 

Cost:  $400 plus airfare
The summer programs are organized by WIESCO and supported by funds from host school districts. You pay $400 (three or more from the same family, $1000) to WIESCO for expenses (like keeping this web site alive), and airfare.  Airfare this year will be approximately $1500 - $2100 from Minneapolis or Chicago.  After arrival in the country, all other transportation, meals and lodging are provided by the host country.  Please read through the general Conditions section for more details.
