English Language Summer Camps in Latvia, Poland, Lithuania, Macedonia

2010 DATES:    Latvia: June 23 - July 22, Lithuania: (No camp in 2010), Poland: June 24 - July 22, Macedonia: June 30 - July 28

Teachers from the United States are invited to teach in English language summer programs in Poland, possibly Macedonia, and Latvia in 2010.  We also invite teachers to bring along students, either your own children (16 to 18 years old) or others you know well, to work as peer participants and teachers’ aids. 

The Programs
The program provides language instruction and activities for Latvian, Lithuanian, Polish and Macdeonian students, ages 12 to 17.  A typical day includes classroom instruction, singing, language activities, sports, and special events. 

Cost:  $300 plus airfare
The summer programs are organized by WIESCO and supported by funds from host school districts and UNESCO. You pay $300 (students pay $200) to WIESCO for expenses (like keeping this web site alive), and airfare.  Airfare this year will be approximately $1500 - $2100 from Minneapolis or Chicago.  After arrival in the country, all other transportation, meals and lodging are provided by the host country.  Please read through the general Conditions section for more details.
